Add Embed Code to the Site Header or Footer

Overview

The Embed Code feature allows site administrators to inject custom code into the header or footer of the platform. This feature can be used to add live chat widgets, tracking software like google analytics, or other 3rd party tools. Embed Code also allows for the html savvy to implement custom style sheets.

Step by Step Walkthrough

Step 1 - Navigate to Embed Code

From the dashboard, select the Site Options dropdown in the left-hand side navigation bar then click Embed Code.

Step 2 - Add Custom Code

Copy your code and paste it into the appropriate area. The three areas are as follows:

• Site footer - Allows the user to place custom code in the footer of all page on the front end of the platform

• Site header for administrative pages - Allows the user to inject custom code into the header of administrative pages

• Site header for site front end - Allows the user to place custom code in the header of the frontend of the platform

Press Save.
